What makes homemade food taste even better?

Homemade food can be incredible. I found that it tastes even better when you eat and drink off of dishes you've made. I made this mugs for my bf, Ian. By my birthday in May, my goal is to have made a set of bowls and plates for me. I've never had a matching set before.
